The Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS), a branch of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), provides grants in fiscal years, when the total appropriation for the organization cannot be estimated. The Corporation for National and Community Service is a part of the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

The Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB), funded by a Federal grant, provides grants in those same fiscal years.

The Corporation for Public Service (CPS), part of the U.S. Department of Commerce, provides grants in the same fiscal year, to entities that are non-profit entities or which are public schools, colleges, or universities.
