For Mexican-Americans, what’s been the thing that’s the hardest? We know you got a little time on the clock, right?

There’s nothing hard about being a Mexican-American; I’ve always had that. You want to prove yourself and I don’t. This may be a new challenge for me to be with someone but I don’t think it’s difficult at all. I’ve made my own way. I wasn’t a good kid. I made my own way into the adult world. I didn’t really know how to say no to people. I had a lot of good friends.

What about you? My mother is Mexican as is my sister, my dad. I can’t really say it was hard. I didn’t see a lot of other white people until I was 12 and I lived in South Florida to see these black faces that I saw as kids every day.

You said you didn’t know how to say “no.” Is that because of your experience growing up?

No, I don’t think it was. I grew up at a family house. We always lived together but that was more because we were all from different states. That’s all. I never had any experience outside of that.

What about you guys, though? You guys talk too much.

It’s tough for me. I haven’t done too much so I don’t know what I’ve done. I do get called out a lot from my friends but I don’t know if I can say no to them all.

It’s kind of a hard thing to do, especially as a white guy, because it’s always a challenge for me to be with someone like that and it’s always the opposite.

Do you think your fans can relate to you, being someone who might be a little less familiar with this world? It must feel pretty strange.

It’s scary. It’s scary for everybody. I’ve had a lot of weird experiences.

I know. It’s a lot of different kinds of experiences. What are you going to tell them? It’s very weird. It’s a good thing.

You’re on Twitter because of your show, though. When the show is done, are you going to go back on Twitter?

I have to take a couple weeks off. I’m going to stay
