“I just think I’m at an age where a good education is a privilege, and if it’s available, I want as many choices as possible!”

What should a college student do after graduation for her music career?

“It’s a bit of a mixed bag. Most of it’s spent finding a way to make the music I love, while not losing a step! It’s so much fun to play the music I know I love so much! I would love to get some guidance in the studio or with an old-timer. There are so many people willing to teach but will they listen? They can’t just sit there and hear you play, they have to see you play too!”

How would you sum up your musical interests? It’s so broad!

“I love music, movies, and all forms of art. Mostly, I love my family and friends, and my favorite things to do is to play my instruments and make music.”

How long ago did you start making music? (e.g., what instrument or instrument group do you usually start from?)

“It was a long time ago! The very first songs I wrote were in my bedroom, on guitar and bass. I wanted to write a band because I was so excited to be doing it. I really didn’t want to go into the studio and get a real job. I knew I could make music on my own.”

What’s the best advice you’ve ever gotten that you plan to keep?

“Keep a few things in mind. Do what you love and pursue that dream. Don’t be afraid of failure. In the end, success is about giving back. Don’t let the people you love dictate how you live your life. Don’t become who you think your life is like.”

What are the top three things you look for in friends and family members? How would you describe each person in a word?

“I think people who are good friends, people who are good parents, and positive people are what I look for so much. If I’m at home and someone is sitting there making his lunch, I’ll be pretty happy!”

What’s the best piece of advice anyone has ever given you?

“Be yourself. There’s no wrong way to do that. ”
